Hemos vivido un periodo tremendamente disruptivo gracias a la tecnolog\u00eda, que ha cambiado totalmente nuestros h\u00e1bitos de consumo. Y no solo es que la forma de consumir cambia r\u00e1pidamente, sino que los cambios son globales, no regionales ni locales, lo que permite multiplicar exponencialmente su alcance. Facebook, por ejemplo, tiene 2.700 millones de usuarios activos. Casi 2.000 millones de personas ven v\u00eddeos en Youtube. Cifras impensables hace no mucho tiempo.<\/p>\n<p>Tenemos muchos ejemplos de ello. El consumo de medios de comunicaci\u00f3n, por ejemplo, se ha transformado completamente gracias a las aplicaciones y dispositivos m\u00f3viles, que han impulsado la participaci\u00f3n del usuario. Netflix ha quebrado la forma tradicional de ver televisi\u00f3n y ha multiplicado la oferta de sistemas de TV de pago. El comercio electr\u00f3nico, las compras por internet, han sufrido una aut\u00e9ntica revoluci\u00f3n de la mano de Amazon y otros operadores. El modelo de distribuci\u00f3n de m\u00fasica ha mutado desde un servicio \u00fanico a otro de valor a\u00f1adido mediante suscripciones. Y los juegos electr\u00f3nicos han explotado como una alternativa real al entretenimiento tradicional, incluso en segmentos que parec\u00edan inalcanzables, como el deporte (frente a los eSports).<\/p>\n<p>Para los inversores, el consumo es una de las grandes tendencias para tener presente durante las pr\u00f3ximas d\u00e9cadas. Los consumidores est\u00e1n cada vez m\u00e1s dispuestos a invertir dinero en su ocio y adem\u00e1s cada d\u00eda m\u00e1s gente tiene recursos econ\u00f3micos para invertir en entretenimiento, seg\u00fan se desarrollan las clases medias de muchos mercados emergentes. Sin embargo, la parte complicada es averiguar d\u00f3nde invertir. Facebook no era nada hace 15 a\u00f1os, hoy es un gigante pero nada nos garantiza no ya que en 15 a\u00f1os siga siendo un l\u00edder, sino que simplemente a\u00fan exista. Todos recordamos Yahoo\u2026 Pero lo sucedido en la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada s\u00ed nos ha ense\u00f1ado cu\u00e1l ser\u00e1 el catalizador del cambio: las innovaciones tecnol\u00f3gicas, que decidir\u00e1n qui\u00e9nes ser\u00e1n los l\u00edderes del futuro. Por eso, la clave es identificar aquellas compa\u00f1\u00edas cuyos modelos de negocio est\u00e1n orientados a cambiar el comportamiento del consumidor.<\/p>\n<p>Algunas industrias con futuro son reconocibles, ya que ocupan de forma m\u00e1s o menos frecuente los t\u00edtulares. Otras, no tanto. Hay muchos ejemplos, como la tecnolog\u00eda relacionada con la conducci\u00f3n aut\u00f3noma, probablemente la mayor revoluci\u00f3n de la industria del autom\u00f3vil en las pr\u00f3ximas d\u00e9cadas. O los l\u00edderes de comercio electr\u00f3nico, que no solo siguen quitando cuota de mercado a las tiendas tradicionales; est\u00e1n a punto de liderar un nuevo cambio estrat\u00e9gico de la industria con la aplicaci\u00f3n de inteligencia artificial al negocio para ser a\u00fan m\u00e1s eficientes. O en la industria del <i>gaming<\/i> o juegos electr\u00f3nicos, donde la clave ser\u00e1n las franquicias que sean capaces de imponerse en los mercados todav\u00eda dominados por el PC, como China.<\/p>\n<p>Dos cosas est\u00e1n claras: una, que el consumo va a desarrollarse y ser\u00e1 mucho m\u00e1s importante para la econom\u00eda mundial de lo que es hoy en d\u00eda. Y dos, que ser\u00e1 diferente a lo que conocemos hoy.
